Tour Overview

Luxor lies close to the centre of the path of totality on 2 August 2027, with about six minutes and twenty seconds of darkness at midday – among the longest anywhere on Earth. We leave Hurghada before dawn, visit the West Bank in the morning, watch the eclipse from a viewing spot in Luxor and drive back to your resort in the evening.

Certified eclipse glasses, an Egyptologist guide, lunch and entrance fees are included, so all you need to bring is a hat and sunscreen.

Tour Highlights

Valley of the Kings

Hidden in the Theban hills, the royal necropolis holds more than sixty tombs. Your ticket covers three of them, with colours that still look freshly painted; Tutankhamun’s tomb can be added.

Temple of Queen Hatshepsut

Three terraces rise against a cliff face at Deir el-Bahari – the memorial temple of one of the few women to rule Egypt as pharaoh. The reliefs of her trading expedition to Punt are a highlight.

Karnak Temple

The largest religious complex ever built grew over 2,000 years. Walk through the Great Hypostyle Hall, a forest of 134 giant columns, and stand beside the obelisk of Queen Hatshepsut.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a visa for Egypt?

Most nationalities can buy a 30-day visa on arrival at Cairo airport for US$25, or apply online for an e-visa before travelling. Our representative meets you before passport control and helps with the process.

When is the best time to visit Egypt?

October to April is the most comfortable season for sightseeing, with sunny days around 20–28°C. Summer is hot in Luxor and Aswan but perfect for the Red Sea, and we adjust touring hours to early mornings.

Are your tours private?

Yes. Unless a tour is marked as a small-group departure, you travel only with your own party, with a private guide and air-conditioned vehicle.

Can I change an itinerary?

Every itinerary is a starting point. Add days, swap hotels, include a balloon ride or a beach stay – tell us what you would like and we will send an updated plan and price.

How do I book and pay?

Send a booking request from any tour page. We confirm availability and the final price by email or WhatsApp. Nothing is charged until you have approved the plan.
