Luxor – Aswan Round-Trip Nile Cruise

The full round trip from Luxor to Aswan and back. Slower sailing, more temples and evenings on deck watching the Nile go by.

Includes Dendera and Abydos from Luxor, and Abu Simbel from Aswan.

Tour Highlights

Nile Cruise between Luxor & Aswan

Unpack once and let the river do the rest. Days are spent visiting temples, afternoons on the sun deck watching palm groves, villages and fishermen slide past.

Dendera Temple of Hathor

One of the most complete temples in Egypt, famous for its blue astronomical ceilings and the stairs to a rooftop chapel with views over the countryside.

Abydos Temple of Seti I

The holy city of Osiris. Seti I’s temple has some of the finest reliefs of the New Kingdom and the famous King List naming the pharaohs who came before.

Karnak Temple

The largest religious complex ever built grew over 2,000 years. Walk through the Great Hypostyle Hall, a forest of 134 giant columns, and stand beside the obelisk of Queen Hatshepsut.

Valley of the Kings

Hidden in the Theban hills, the royal necropolis holds more than sixty tombs. Your ticket covers three of them, with colours that still look freshly painted; Tutankhamun’s tomb can be added.

Edfu Temple of Horus

The best-preserved temple in Egypt, dedicated to the falcon god Horus. Its walls tell the story of Horus’ battle with Seth, and its towering pylon is unforgettable.

Kom Ombo Temple

A rare double temple shared by the crocodile god Sobek and Haroeris, standing right on the riverbank. A small museum next door displays mummified crocodiles.

Abu Simbel Temples

Ramses II carved two temples into a mountain near the Sudanese border, guarded by four 20-metre statues of himself. In the 1960s the whole site was cut into blocks and lifted to safety – an epic worth the early start.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a visa for Egypt?

Most nationalities can buy a 30-day visa on arrival at Cairo airport for US$25, or apply online for an e-visa before travelling. Our representative meets you before passport control and helps with the process.

When is the best time to visit Egypt?

October to April is the most comfortable season for sightseeing, with sunny days around 20–28°C. Summer is hot in Luxor and Aswan but perfect for the Red Sea, and we adjust touring hours to early mornings.

Are your tours private?

Yes. Unless a tour is marked as a small-group departure, you travel only with your own party, with a private guide and air-conditioned vehicle.

Can I change an itinerary?

Every itinerary is a starting point. Add days, swap hotels, include a balloon ride or a beach stay – tell us what you would like and we will send an updated plan and price.
